Alex Easton MLA who campaigned for dropped kerbs for the Bexley Road was delighted to see the work being carried out to install them.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I am delighted that the work for these dropped kerbs has finally started on the Bexley Road, this is a major thoroughfare for residents who regularly use the Bexley Road to take their children to Ballymagee Primary School and the Ashbury Shops.”
“It also means that the Elderly and disabled can use the dropped kerbs in an easier and safer manor to cross busy road junctions, I welcome the decision to start the work and look forward to its completion.”
