Alex Easton MLA visited the news Water and Sewage Treatment facility at Abbey Street, Bangor.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This is a truly enormous project, and once you actually get to see the size of this new water and Sewage facility being built it is mind blowing. It is always good to actually go and see a project and see what the rate payer’s money is being spent on. This new Water and Sewage facility will guarantee that Bangor will have a modern up to date facility to pump sewage to the Donaghadee plant for disposal of sewage, and ensure the residents in Bangor have good quality water to drink for the future. I had also asked about historical remains found at the site and I understand they have come across two burials and they have been treated with respect and reburied. This is a fantastic facility and I would thank the Ards & North Down Council for giving me the opportunity to visit the site!”
