Alex Easton MLA went on patrol with the District Commander Brian Key on Friday afternoon in Bangor.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I was delighted to meet the New PSNI Commander for the Ards and North Down area Brian Key, I felt that it was important to meet the new commander to get to know him and build up a good working relationship with him just as I have done with previous commanders. Instead of me popping into the station for a chat we decided to do a patrol and walkabout round Main Street and High Street and to call into some local businesses to introduce ourselves and show our new commander is a man who wants to be out and about and show his interest in what is going on in the local community. We called into Focus and Wall Hangers in High Street and chatted to the local community and listened to any issues they had. It is important that I develop a good working relationship with the local Commander and would thank him for taking an hour and a half out of his valuable time to get to know each othe, and to get to know some of the business owners in Bangor Town Centre.”
