Alex Easton MLA has today received further information on actions to be taken by DRD in Beechfield Estate in Donaghadee.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“After the DRD Ministers visit at my invite to Beechfield Estate Donaghadee, the DRD have agreed to look at the following actions in Beechfield Estate. The DRD have agreed to remove the remaining broken concrete slabs footpaths running between Beechfield Drive and Ashfield Drive, and have agreed to have the dead weeds scuffed around Beechfield to improve the look of the area.”

“It has also been agreed that DRD will assess the various road resurfacing issues raised at the meeting along NorthField Rd,Cannyreagh Rd and Beechfield Drive, subject to funding allocations and other competing priorities. While this remains the top priority I will continue to pursue this particular issue until we get what the residents of Beechfied Estate fully deserve.”
