Alex Easton MLA has today demanded action from Ards and North Down Council on dog fouling issues in Donaghadee.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This is a major issue in Donaghadee, and I am being inundated with complaints from the residents of Donaghadee complaining about dog fouling especially along Shore Street and the Commons. The Council need to take urgent action on several fronts, firstly there is a need for more Dog Fouling Bins as there is clearly not enough, secondly more signage is needed, thirdly there needs to be a quicker response from Council to clean up any fouling and fourthly there needs to be a much more robust enforcement action taken to catch the small minority of individuals who allow this to happen.
