Alex Easton MLA has today called on Road Service to sort out the fencing at Kilcooley, which borders on to the main Bangor to Belfast Road.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This has been an on-going issue for years and I was rather dismayed by the answer to my NI Assembly Question that I submitted to the DRD Minister. The fencing is a mess with huge gaps and most of the actual fencing missing. It has not been maintained and is no use to pedestrian safety or residents living in Kilcooley or indeed car users as it is situated on the top of a hilly embankment. The fence is ugly and unsightly and DRD needs to invest in replacing the fence and more importantly fix it for the safety of the residents of Kilcooley which is the priority.”
