Alex Easton MLA has today called on NI Water and the new Council to sort out the flooding issue at Abbey Villa Football club on the Abbey Rd, Millisle.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“I have been contact by a constituent who plays football at the Abbey Villa Football Club to complain about the continues flooding at Abbey Villa football club situated on the Abbey Road, Millisle.”
“This situation has apparently been going on for some time and it is important that a meeting can be set up between the club, NI Water and Council to see what can be done to resolve the flooding but to agree who has responsibility for the area of road verge and land. I understand my colleague Councillor Robert Adair is trying to arrange this meeting and the sooner it can be arranged the better.”
