Alex Easton MLA has drawn up a Notice of Motion for his colleague Councilor Wesley Irvine to take forward at the Ards and North Down Council.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“ A Notice of Motion has been drawn up by me and taken forward by Councilor Wesley Irvine was passed last night at Council to bring back a report on the ongoing anti-social behavior at the Conlig Playground with costing for a fence to be put around the entire boundary to protect residents homes. Having been out to visit residents in their homes during the summer I was horrified to hear how families have been subjected on a nightly basis from youths throwing stones, jumping into their property’s and causing misery in the local area. I am hoping by putting a property fence around the whole perimeter this will afford the residents some peace and protection in the future. I am quietly optimistic that the report will come back with a positive result and allow this to happen.”
