ALEX EASTON MLA CALLS FOR ACTION BY DRD TO RESUFACE FOOTPATHS ALONG ABBEY RING IN LOUGHVIEW ESTATE.

Alex Easton MLA has today called on DRD to inspect the footpaths along Abbey Ring in Loughview Estate Holywood, with a view to resurfacing the pathways.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“Having been in Loughview Estate last week I was very conscious of the state of the footpaths around the Abbey Ring, they appear to be old worn out and patchy and in my mind the DRD need to inspect them with a view to resurfacing the footpath around Abbey Ring.”

“It is important that we provide the best possible footpaths for the residents of the area, so that the safety of those walking can be insured. I have also asked for a further dropped kerb to be located at the Abbots Wood and Abbey Ring junction which will also address that one last remaining location required for a dropped kerb in Loughview. I have written to the DRD on these issues and am awaiting a response.”
