Alex Easton MLA arranged a public meeting at Donaghadee Community Centre last Wednesday evening, as a follow up to discuss the ongoing concerns of residents at the bus stop at New Street, Donaghadee.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This was a follow up meeting that was promised by Translink management to listen to the concerns of residents and parents at the collection of children going to school in the mornings from the New Street bus stop, Donaghadee. The meeting was poorly attended, with only the issue of the bus time table being discussed to allow for follow on buses to be caught in time.”

“The Translink management listened to the concerns and promised to relook at the time tables to see if the connecting buses could be coordinated better. I would thank all those who attended and would ask that if there are any further concerns for residents to contact myself and I will contact Translink on their behalf.”
