Alex Easton MLA has reacted with delight at the news from a Northern Ireland Assembly question which confirmed that the Cotton is to have its roads resurfaced.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This is fantastic news for the residents of the Cotton who have had to endure substandard roads for years with patches and pot holes which have made the area look very poor. I am delighted that my constant lobbying for the roads to be resurfaced at Bailie Park, Bailie Terrace, and Bailie Gardens for the residents has finally paid off. I understand from further discussions with Transport NI the work will start over the summer months. I look forward to seeing the work being started and for the finished article being completed.”
