Alex Easton MLA has called for resident’s right across North Down to come out to support the 12th to be held in Holywood.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“It is important that the residents of North Down come out to celebrate and support the Orange Order in their annual 12th demonstration to be held on Monday the 13th in Holywood this year. This is a family occasion and is open to everyone no matter their tradition to enjoy this family day out, and to celebration our culture. The field will be a Ballymenoch Park in Holywood this year and will see food stalls and bouncy castles for the kids. This will be like no other event that is held in Northern Ireland as it attracts thousands of people from right across North Down, who line the streets to see the bands and Orange Men as they march. I would also urge people to also support the feeder parades that will start at 10am for Bangor District Number 18 and the main demonstration that will start at 12 noon in Holywood. Don’t miss out on what is a fantastic day, come and enjoy the festivities and all are welcome.”
